When should we attend Learn About Baby's antenatal & postnatal courses?

You and your birthing partner can attend courses anytime from when you are considering having a baby

I already have a child, how can Learn About Baby's courses help me?

Learn About Baby courses have helped existing parents explore the differing Active Birth options available to them today, building on their existing knowledge and experiences. This is particularly relevant for existing parents who may have had complication during a previous birth or just want to explore topics such as water birth or having a home delivery.

How many other couples will be on the course?

I look to limit the numbers to 8 couples per weekend course and 10 couples for our midweek courses. My aim is to keep my courses relaxed and informal and to give you plenty of opportunity for discussion and interaction.

What should I wear to classes?

Loose comfortable clothing. Trousers would be more suitable.

Who should I bring to my course?

Learn About Baby courses are for two people and aimed at you and your birthing partner but you can bring anyone you like as your partner on the day for support.

Your classes are not in my local area, can you recommend any good local overnight accommodation?

My weekend courses are held at the Kettering Park Hotel & Spa in Northamptonshire. The hotel can provide you with an excellent standard of accommodation. There are also several other hotels and Guest Houses in the area to suit all budgets. If you send me an email with your specific requirements then I would be happy to provide you with a recommendation.

Do you provide private consultations?

Yes, I also provide private consultations in the privacy of your own home, give me a call and we can discuss your specific requirements.

What happens after I book my course?

We will write to you confirming your reservation and will include directions to the venue and details of your course start times.
